Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, I’m a proud graduate of Flint Southwestern Academy, Class of 2008. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina A&T State University in 2012. Sports have always played a big role in my life, teaching me discipline, teamwork, and consistency — values that continue to guide me today.

On the basketball court, I always made sure I had the hottest kicks—whether it was the latest Jordans or a rare pair of Kobes, my sneakers were as much a part of my game as my jump shot. It wasn’t just about performance; it was about making a statement, turning heads the moment I stepped on the floor. Over time, I started to pay more attention to how sneakers connected to style off the court too, blending athletic culture with streetwear and self-expression. That connection between sports and style became personal, and it’s what ultimately developed my passion for sneakers and fashion.

This same passion led me to work in several retail sneaker stores, where I found joy not just in the products, but in connecting with customers and helping them find something that fits their personal style and lifestyle. I genuinely enjoy customer service and believe that style and function can go hand-in-hand.

In recent years, I’ve taken that same mindset into my work at General Motors. Working in an industrial setting has shown me just how important it is to have reliable footwear — not just for style, but for safety, support, and all-day comfort. I’ve learned firsthand how the right pair of shoes can impact performance and well-being on the job, and I carry that understanding with me whether I’m on the factory floor or recommending sneakers to someone in a store.
